FOR CAROL RAMA THE AWARD
"PRESIDENTE DELLA REPUBBLICA" OF
THE NATIONAL ACCADEMY OF SAN LUCA
On January 14, 2010, at 11 o'clock a.m., Carol Rama was
awarded the prestigious prize "Presidente della Repubblica" by the President of the Italian
Republic Giorgio Napolitano. The famous painter was recommended by the Roman National
Accademy of San Luca, which is engaged since the 16th century to promote arts and
architecture in Italy.The prize has been collected at Rome by her friend, the artist and
architect Corrado Levi.
